1) Does the solo 401(k) have income taxes at the corporate level (the business level prior to dividend payments to the qualified plan)?

2) Can the solo 401(k) purchase/create/operate an LLC in the plan level without the services of a trust-type intermediary?

That is a good question. I guess the questions is how much debt do you have. If it can be paid off in a time, I would do that. Debt is a ridiculous thing to carry. We live in a get now,pay later society. That is what got us in the trouble we are in. That and spending too much. Maybe I would paying off debt asap and looking around for jobs in my field. I mean looking for a new job today but just keeping an eye ot for if, in fact, I needed to find a new job. Man, there is a logical argument for both scenarios.
I am a fan of getting out of and staying out of debt. Try reading a book called the Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. It has helped my wife and I get out of debt and build a long term financial plan. He has a show on Fox Business Channel at 8:00 and midnight EST and can also be heard on the radio. You need to go to http://www.Daveramsey.com to find out what stations and times though. This guy has a great program for getting out of debt. We just got the last title in the mail for our car. We do not have a car payment on either one and we paid them off more than a year early. It is a great feeling. Check it out.

Defend the Word

1. Bad publicity. specifically the recent (about 6 months ago) ABC program, this came just before a large number of the australian centers shut.

2.Gloabl credit crunch. It seems more of Dores clients are low income families, the of people for whom getting credit is now near impossible, or prohibitivly expensive, like alot of businesses now. Without the HP the people able to pay for Dore have dried up.

3. there is a new consumer selling act comin into force in the UK soon, this could cause problems for what dore are selling.

4. an ex employee, Bob Clarke was due to have an employment trbunal Dore may have been concerned about what he was about to expose.

What I dont believe is that Dore was running at a loss. The variable costs for the program were a couple of hundred pounds and they were charging 2500. Any in thier accounts is probably more likely due to the money being moved to another company etc. Dore states that he never took a but there are plenty of other ways of getting money out of a company. And there are plenty of companies that have gone under and still made alot of money for thier directors.

Its just very sad for the clients that wont get anyhting back, in the MyDore thing is just a way of telling clients that they are continuing the program and have no claim. I also find it disgusting that, according to a number of ex employees, they were not allowed to ring clients and tell them not to travel for thier next appointment, instead let them turn up and find an empty office, no notices. This is just a way of stalling people to invalidate any later claim.

I am surprised at how well people are taking this, saying that they have faith in Wynford Dore and they will be able to complete the program, although I am not sure if these are real people, maybe just of the marketing.

I'm sure you could find some examples of single moms who, like your example, are only after a guy's money. But consider this: if the mother is so insecure with her life situation, wouldn't that make her MORE loyal and attentive to you for fear that you might leave her alone? Besides, most of the single moms I know are not the feminazi type. They're pretty strong and independent because they usually have to be. Their main objective is not simply to find a man to help raise her kids and then dump him when she's taken enough of his money. If they're looking for a man it's because they want a partner (long term) or they want to get laid (short term). They're quite capable of raising their kids on their own or, more likely, with the child's father. Just because they're single mothers doesn't mean the father is out of the picture.

I'm living with my girlfriend who is a great mother of two kids and I have two kids also. We each have 50/50 custody of our children and we split only the household expenses. Costs relating to our respective kids are paid for by the parent of whichever kid. So your example has absolutely no similarity to my situation or that of any other single mother I know. And by the way, junior, they're not baggage. They're called children. You'll understand when you grow up some.

As far as the drug issues, in many cases there is something else that is "pushing" towards the drug usage, but in a lot of other cases that is an excuse and people do them just to "fit in" or "seem cool." I can't say I've ever done drugs to fit in, but I have done them. For me, it was a phase, a phase that I've sense grown out of.

Don't focus on the other kids and what they are doing or are permitted to do, focus on you. Think about what's best for you and the type of reputation you want to have. Girls who wear skimpy shorts or whatever often get the reputation of being easy or "slutty." Think to yourself, "is that the type of person I want people to see me as? The Teachers maybe aren't picking on you, but merely seeing the potential that you have and not wanting you to fall into that category.

Don't attempt suicide ever again, nothing is ever bad enough that it cant be fixed. Suicide is simply a coward's way out. If you feel like your being singled out, talk to the school counselor, or attempt to seek help elsewhere. Same thing with your illness, see if your mom can't get you into a physician and get the problems properly diagnosed. That is thee best starting point

My favourite was when the avatars of answerers switched with the avatars of other answerers at random. Unfortunately they fixed it,but it was fun while it lasted.

…You know what really annoys me? The fact that a best answer being deleted causes the question to be removed too(without notification). I've lost some excellent zoology questions because the person I awarded best answer to had their account oopsed(and all content removed). They were based on news articles from the day I asked them,so I can't just ask them again without a lot of searching.
